Invisalign is an innovative and high-tech answer to the challenge of traditional orthodontic treatment. Rather than brackets and wires, Invisalign utilizes a clear aligner tray system that gradually and gently moves your teeth over time. The clear aligner trays apply low force and move your teeth slowly, which eliminates the need for painful “tightening” appointments.

The first step to achieving a healthier, more beautiful smile with Invisalign is to come to our office for an evaluation. If you are a good candidate for Invisalign, we will take impressions to send to the Invisalign lab to create your aligner trays. Normally, you will wear each aligner tray for approximately two weeks and then change them out for a new one. Each tray will bring you one step closer to a healthy, beautiful smile.
During your treatment, we will have regular follow-up exams to help us keep your treatment on track. You should wear your trays for at least 22 hours per day so that your treatment progresses properly.
Because your aligner trays will be clear and discreet, they will not affect your appearance the way that traditional orthodontics will. Most people will not even notice that you are in treatment!
Since your trays are removable, you can take them out to eat and to clean your teeth. Our patients really appreciate the convenience of not having to use special tools and threader floss to take care of their teeth. This helps you to avoid some of the common problems that come with orthodontic treatment.
